The woman narrated the story this way, that her husband told her never to fetch water in rain and she did just that for some few days. The husband travelled for a place for 4days for work and he never knew his town was out of water for 3days gone by

A very big rain came down and the woman then decided  to fetch some to wash the husband's  dirty clothes so she did just that and when the husband  returned from the journey he didn't ask anything and started beating the wife till he almost killed her
